I'm Isabella. I'm a playwright from Auckland, New Zealand.

I have been nominated for Playmarket’s Playwrights b4 25 Award, was a finalist in the Short+Sweet theatre festival, and am published in 101 Monologues for Youth.

​

In 2023, my play, Champions, debuted in a sold-out, extended season on the Main Stage at the Basement Theatre in Tāmaki Makaurau. It had its international premiere at the Old Fitz Theatre the following year.

​

I was recently awarded development funding from Creative New Zealand's Early Career Fund - Toi Tipu Toi Rea to create a new theatre project.

​

My work has been described as “crack-up, lyrical, and poignant” (Bad Apple) and “terrifyingly real” (Rat World Magazine).
